14 And those who were cast into prison suffered many things, and they were delivered by the hand of Lamoni and Ammon, and they were fed and clothed.
They suffered. They suffered horribly. But it’s important to remember nothing lasts forever. And that God does not give us anything we cannot endure, with his help and when we turn to him. If we don't, I assume, that promise is not valid. We may be tempted above that which we are able.
Nothing lasts forever but justice, mercy and love. Justice for the unrepentant. Mercy for the repentant. And love for all... love for all.
In the end, anything we suffer will count towards a greater reward, if we are faithful and endure it well, and suffer for Christ’s sake and not our sins and foolish choices.
