16 And they went forth whithersoever they were led by the Spirit of the Lord, preaching the word of God in every synagogue of the Amalekites, or in every assembly of the Lamanites where they could be admitted.

Just how they were led by the Spirit everywhere they went is a mystery to me. I have such a hard time discerning the voice of the Lord. The witness of the Spirit I know. The still, small voice I struggle with. Heck, I don’t even know technically if those two voices are different, or one and the same.

I wish there were a definitive work or book or talk or something on the matter. If there is, I have not found it in anything I have read— including books that are written specifically to the subject of hearing the voice of the Lord. Matter of fact, that is the title of one of them- Hearing the Voice of the Lord.
