9 Now Aaron began to open the scriptures unto them concerning the coming of Christ, and also concerning the resurrection of the dead, and that there could be no redemption for mankind save it were through the death and sufferings of Christ, and the atonement of his blood.
In response, Ammon went to the scriptures. The same scriptures that the Nehors probably used as part of their own cannon. But, like the religions of our day, wrested them into a pretzel, or perhaps more accurately, a rats nest of half truths, distortions, misinterpretations and lies.
Ammon spoke and read about the future coming of Christ, the resurrection, and the Atonement of Christ— the redemption from the fall, spiritually and physically. Let’s see how the man reacts to hearing his own scriptures preached to him. No doubt just like so many of our day reject the truth from the Bible they profess to believe.
