Alma 22: 30

Writer's picture: Brother UreBrother Ure

30 And it bordered upon the land which they called Desolation, it being so far northward that it came into the land which had been peopled and been destroyed, of whose bones we have spoken, which was discovered by the people of Zarahemla, it being the place of their first landing.

What is “it” referred to in this verse? It seems like it is Bountiful, somewhere north at the head of the River Sidon, which if the Mississippi would be somewhere in Minnesota today. Either way, it was the place where the Jaredites landed. Was this the land of the Final battle of the Jaresites? Or just one site where there were wars?
