Alma 24: 20

Writer's picture: Brother UreBrother Ure

20 And it came to pass that their brethren, the Lamanites, made preparations for war, and came up to the land of Nephi for the purpose of destroying the king, and to place another in his stead, and also of destroying the people of Anti-Nephi-Lehi out of the land.

The group of rebellious Lamanites, dissenters, traitors to their own people, and for no other reason than hating the people of God, come up to war against the king and his people to kill them and replace the righteous king with a wicked one.

These poor people. They had no idea how blessed they were to have a righteous king! So rare. They know now, though.

Let’s see what happens here. Let’s see how handling opposition with humility and faith works in this case.
