Alma 26: 1-2

Writer's picture: Brother UreBrother Ure

1 And now, these are the words of Ammon to his brethren, which say thus: My brothers and my brethren, behold I say unto you, how great reason have we to rejoice; for could we have supposed when we started from the land of Zarahemla that God would have granted unto us such great blessings?

2 And now, I ask, what great blessings has he bestowed upon us? Can ye tell?

Talk about a leading, rhetorical question! Ammon, filled with that joy that is unspeakable and impassable, obviously couldn’t wait to ask and answer his own questions. And indeed, who could have imagined they would have been so blessed? To bring thousands of souls to Christ, not to mention future generations, many of whom would shortly welcome the very resurrected Christ in less than 90 years.  Truly it was a miracle.
