Alma 26: 9

Writer's picture: Brother UreBrother Ure

9 For if we had not come up out of the land of Zarahemla, these our dearly beloved brethren, who have so dearly beloved us, would still have been racked with hatred against us, yea, and they would also have been strangers to God.

Ammon speaks to the unthinkable at this time— what would have happened if they had not left Zarahemla to share the good news with the Lamanites. Their brothers would still be tormented, filled with hate and separated from God. And what is that akin to? Is it not hell?
